How to setup your first Global Gold Vault

1. Minting Your First Vault

Navigate to Global Gold Vaults

Click Here

Connect your wallet to Global Gold Vaults

Using Wallet Connect find the wallet application you are using and connect your wallet.

Click "Create New Vault"

Configure Initial Guardians

• Add guardian addresses (optional but highly recommended)

  • Set default guardian threshold (e.g., 2 out of 3)

Confirm the transaction in your wallet

Your wallet app will prompt you to approve the creation of your Vault.

Wait for confirmation

You'll receive an NFT representing your very own Global Gold Vault

2. Setting up your Guardians

Navigate to "Guardian Management"

Click "Add Guardian"

Enter the Guardian's Ethereum Address

Example (0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000).

Confirm the transaction

Transaction will appear on the wallet hosting your vault (not the Guardian wallet).

Best Practices for Guardians

• Add 2-3 trusted guardians.

• Use different types of guardians (hardware wallets, trusted friends, institutions).

• Set a threshold of 2 guardians for most operations.

3. Configure Security Settings

Set your default guardian threshold

This is the amount of Guardians that are required for approvals.

Configure action-specific thresholds if desired

For example, you might require two Guardians to approve NFT transactions but have five Guardians to secure your gold.

Make sure all settings are configured to match your preferences.
